Restore conatact's with No SD Card

Im hoping someone on here can help. I used to have an original desire untill recently, but it died, I've replaced it with a nexus s, which arives tomorrow.

I had backed up all the contacts to sd card (not all are syncd with google) and ive backed up the SD card to my mac. but as there is no SD card slot on the nexus s, so I can't restore from SD. can i just copy it onto the internal memory and restore like that?

You can import the vcf file that was created in to the Gmail account you set up the phone with.

Open Gmail via a PC, hit contacts, More Actions, Import, then select the vcf file. When you link the new contact you your gmail account and sync, the contacts should appear.

That help?

While there's no physical SD card, there is the logical equivalent, where you can write data to your heart's delight.

Like physical SD card, it's named /mnt/sdcard and is available for mounting on desktop as usb device.
