Root Restore DHD to stock?

Hi there, been looking around for the Desire HD and restoring it to stock, because im having nothing but nightmares flashing new roms (tried 8 today, all but one failed, and that one that worked the wifi wouldnt work), so a friend said restore it to stock. The phone is UNLOCKED, and I had previous root with JellyTime which decided it no longer wants to load either. So, I want to try to restore it to stock and attempt an upgrade from there, but none of the ROMs I find work, or are outdated, bad links, EXE's that don't recognize the phone is connected, etc.

Any ideas?

your issues sound typical of an unlocked,s-on phone that has not had the boot image flashed seperately :)
