Help restore "hide apps" functionality on 4.4.4 KitKat

Hi there,
I recently updated to KK, and realized they too out the ability to hide apps on the stock tw launcher, and replaced it with "remove/disable apps". I really like tw over other launchers, and was wondering if there was any way to "restore" this feature, since I had it before the update. My phone is rooted, and I have the Xposed framewor installed.

I don't know the answer to your question, but . . . since I like simple, I just set up a folder on the app display and shoved all the apps I used to hide into it. Voila - hidden apps!
