Root Restore Hyperlink functionality lost in last OTA.

Sorry if this has been covered but was looking at the differences between the build.prop on the last stock update and noticed this entry “ro.da1.enable=true” not found in any of the previous versions. Did a Google search and it is apparently used to disable some functionality lost in an Apple lawsuit. Changing the line to “ro.da1.enable=false” and adding “ro.da1.method=false” beneath will apparently enable what was lost. Anyhow just in case thought I would share.

Well I tried it! I went back to the build prop and the changes I made stuck! Not sure what if anything this little code means? Is it supposed to make the handset get better reception? I hope so. Presently Im using Mobster Rom!

It has nothing to do with reception, basically Crapple stated in one of their lawsuits that being able to directly click on certain links violates one of their patents, this merely restores the functionality that HTC was ordered to remove.
