any help is much appreciated

Hi Shonan!

Rooting was the "difficult" part... flashing ROM's on your phone is easy! You don't need to worry - there are things you can do to make sure it doesn't all go wrong...

Make sure you make a backup of your ROM before you flash anything. You do this by going in to clockwork recovery (I think you flashed your phone with the Ace Hack Kit, which means that this should automatically have been put on your phone for you) and use the volume keys to navigate and power button to select.

Once backed up, you can revert back to what you just backed up if either there is a problem with the flash you do or just don't like the ROM you flash on to your phone - this is one of the important things to do, as the backup of your current ROM will be EXACTLY how it is (all data and everything) when you back it up... I, amongst others I'm sure, have had my bacon saved by doing a backup before flashing!
