Root restoring bootloader

I did not back up my phone and now I have lost the original bootloader as well as the original font that comes on the HTC EVO 4G. Is there any way to get this back. Not sure if I can pull files from another EVO or not. However I do have another evo that is in its original condition when purchased. Any ideas?

I am not sure I understand. You can not get to hboot anymore? What happens if you try and go there?

I also do not quite understand what you mean, but I'm sure you can find a download of the font somewhere and ADB it in ( or flash it if you get the bootloader/recovery figured out).

And just because there was something similar to this a while back, make sure that when you are going into recovery, you are pressing both Vol. Down and Power, for around five seconds (not just a short press).

I can get to hboot, recovery and all of that. I didnt back up the old stuff so i assumed that I lost it all. Haven't really tried doing too much due to my lack of knowledge.

Press volume down on hold it and then press the power button and hold both the same time. U should Come to your h boot screen from there then select your recovery. If you're stating that there is no ROM or recovery. ( how did u do that)... then you can always take the sd card out. put it in your computer and download a rom to the sd card along with a recovery if needed ..... if you already have a recovery that's great when you press volume down and the power button it will put you in to h boot. Select recovery and then select run zip from sd card. Got it

And oh by the way. DO A NADROID NEXT TIME. HELLO. Every thread you read says DO an Nandroid first .....PLEASE:...........

I think we just don't quite understand what you want. Are you trying to unroot? Do you want to keep root, but go back to the original ROM? What have you done since you rooted? Flashed a ROM? Just fonts? You can't possibly have a different bootloader unless you flashed a different one (unlikely), and even if you did, that doesn't matter. Likely, you're thinking of something else :). Let us know what state you want your phone to be in, and we can help you get there. That might be a little more helpful than just throwing suggestions out there :).
