Android Version: 2.2

Taskiller Used?: Not at the moment
[Optional]Are You rooted & which Rom: No
Issue:
I just updated my phone to Android 2.2. Before I did the update, I made sure that the setting in "privacy" to backup all my settings etc was enabled. So, now all of my settings are gone (because of the update), but I can't seem to work out how to get them back? Are they stored on the SD card? How do I actually get it to restore from the backup it did? I've lost all of my messages, settings... everything (except contacts which I backed up separately using the export to SD card option).
Thanks,
Kim
