Root Restoring Nand Backup

Just looking for a little Clarity before I screw something up. I am fairly new to rooting (just a few days in) and so far i have preferred the KaosFroyo Rom that i had flashed. After i had tweaked everything the way i liked it, I did a nand backup and then flashed a different ROM

I am currently now flashed with XtrSense and after a day of use i really think i want to go back to the Kaos ROM. My question is what is the step by step process in restoring my nand backup? Do I just have to perform the Factory/Reset wipe and the DalvikCache wipe and then do the restore?

My hope is that the nand restore will take me right back to where I left off with the Kaos Rom. I know I can just flash the Kaos Rom and go back that way and then do a Batch restore from Titanium Backup for my APPS, but there are just a bunch of small tweaks that are time consuming that I just dont want to have to do over again!

From what i have gathered on these forums is that a Nand Backup will take you right back.

Thanks in Advance!

yes, and yes.

enjoy!

You don't have to bother with Dalvik wipe. In fact, you rarely need to factory reset/data wipe - the Nandroid process should do that for you - but there have been times that Nandroid restore failed when I did not factory wipe first, so now I always do.
