Hey guys, I proceeded to soft brick my reverb. As you can tell from my other thread my usb dosnt work. On my tablet (tf101) we use to have to downgrade the firmware before rooting which involved flashing an old update that was renamed properly in the stock recovery. My question is can i do this with my reverb?

did you install CWM on your phone before this happened? if so i can help if not you may have to claim a warranty w/ VM.
No unfourtantly the usb on my phone has never worked. It shows up as an unreconized device but my brothers connects just fine. If i was to put the stock firmware on the sd card and choose update from the sd card would that work?

unfortunately no. I would definitely call VM right now to have them swap it out. they overnight-ed me a replacement.
call tier 3 support...they are awesome and work directly for VM.

I have had my share of being endlessly tranfered by foriegners who all contradict them selves 
O well i guess the phone was a dud anyway
