Somehow I deleted my quick Search Box at the top of the screen next to the home screen.
Using HTC desire.
Does anyone know how to restore it back?
Thanks for all responses.

On the Droid X, you put the google widget with the white g in the blue box on the homescreen where you want to restore the google QSB (I deleted mine, too, while moving it down the page: moved it too far, into the trash, ooops).
Hold the square google widget long enough for a menu to appear (just before it vibrates): at the top of the menu, there's another white g in a blue box that says "All" (meaning it will search all of your phone), followed by a globe which says "Web", followed by various applications which you have checked (allowing google to search your phone, like music library, or Kindle books library, or sticky notes).
Choose the white g in the blue box that says "All" and the Google QSB will replace the small blue box.
Also, there's a barely visible inverted triangle (white on white) beneath the blue g on the left of the QSB as you're looking at it. If you touch the inverted triangle once the QSB is restored, the menu will reappear, allowing you to choose other options, like only searching your sticky notes, for example.
And I found all this out by pure accident since there are NO instructions for anything at all in Motorola's handbook or on Google's site itself: shame to both of them.
Hope it works for your version of the phone.
