I wonder if there is a way to stop users from connecting to unapproved wireless access points in Tab 2 10.1? Im sure this question has been posted, but my searches did not find it. Thanks in advance!

Not sure what you mean by "Unapproved" WiFi access points?
Private owners of WiFi would usually protect access to outside users by using wpa2 or better. Public hotspots are open to public and access would be controlled by individual users choosing to make use of the service or not.
