Resurrection Remix

I was thinking about flashing my phone with the Resurrection Remix of ICS. Has anyone used this yet? Is it any good?

Also can you root your phone after you have flashed it to ICS.

Thanks.

Tried it. I guess it's a good rom. To be honest, it's pretty hard to find differences between ROMs out there because they are very similar in performance.

With that said, I am still a noob at flashing ROMS, and for Resurrection it's kind of complicated than other Roms if you want to flash a different one over it. (So I would not recommend this Rom to starters to the Rom scene, as to go back to another Rom isn't as simple as other Roms where you could flash over CWM)

I would recommend OMEGA though.

Can I ask why you would recommend OMEGA? I have heard that with Resurrection Remix ROM, you cannot use the Samsung contacts. Is this true as I like using that.

xbroo until GC and Leo finally release their version of ICS, Omega is the best that there is, ive tried them all and tbh the checkrom boys have got their work cut out for them to 1 up this rom.

EDIT : - CRR have taken too long in bringing us ICS where as other Devs have at least tried with very buggy early builds. I guess waiting for "perfection" sometimes can bite you clean in the bum and people will stray and find something that equals or betters what CRR are going too achieve

I kind of get where you're coming from but I respect what CR are doing. They have such a high standard to live up to that they can't release anything that isn't perfect. I'm sure they have built roms based on all the ics firmwares and looked at it and thought it wasn't up to standard. Just because they haven't released anything doesn't necessarily mean they will be new to the ics world when they do release. Fair enough people will stray but the majority will flock straight back. How does that saying go? The absence makes you fonder.
