I was running a rom called neat rom and decided to upgrade to CM 10.1 after I upgraded I noticed some of my contacts were gone because I did a wipe. I realised that the contacts that were gone were saved onto my phone and not my google account. I tried checking my gmail account and using the restore contact feature it didn't work as my lost contacts weren't part of my google account. Is there anyway to retrieve contacts that were stored on the phone after a wipe?

If you followed best practice and made a nandroid backup prior to flashing CM, then you can restore the nandroid and either sync your contacts to Google or go to...
Contacts > Menu > Import/Export > Export to SD card... and save all your contacts to your removable storage.
Other than that, I'm afraid they are lost.

I had a backup of my previous rom but since everything was smooth on cm I decided to delete it and make a new backup of cm. I'll just call this a loss thanks for the help anyway
