Return or keep?

I am a new GNEX owner (1 week) I havent even put in my straight talk sim card yet. I have been just playing with it via wi-fi. From day one I have had glitchy issues with the power button and volume toggle. Also on occasion it will also just turn off without reason. I can ususally get the power button to work in a a few minutes but for a fresh phone for $350 it should have no issues, IMO.
My question is; Should I return the phone in my 15 day window?
If so replace with another GNEX or wait two more weeks for the LG Nexus 4 to go on sale?

Thanks for your time!

Return it since you are having what appears to be hardware problems.

What you decide to do next is up to you. Why did you choose the Nexus in the first place? If you want pure Android and to be first in line for updates without having to tinker with your device - stick with this. If you want better specs, wait or look around. But you can always wait and something better will always be around the corner if you are just going by best specs.

Thanks for the feed back from everyone!:)
I cant afford an unlocked S3 or iphone. I might be able to swallow spending $400 for the Nexus 4. Another option is wait for Nexus 4 to arrive and see where the Galaxy Nexus price goes. I do worry I will just get another problem phone though. I liked the Galaxy when it worked, but it is my first smartphone and I don't have a benchmark.

Pleading ignorance here-All the apps (about 40) I have on my problem Galaxy currently, do I just delete them and on my next phone start fresh again, or can that info. be saved somewhere/somehow?

Thanks for your time.

When you get your new phone and sign in to your Google account (you made this when setting the phone up) , all you have to do is go to the play store and select my apps and they all will be there. Then redownload whatever you want.
