Root Return to stock

Alright guys, girlfriend is looking into selling her phone and I need to return it to stock. I have looked around and can't find much. Really hoping someone can help me, I can't sell it running a custom ROM, she wouldn't let me. Save me from deprivation and help me out guys.

Thanks in advance.

Well, you wanna get back to Stock. From my experience the file in that post (PH44IMG.zip) will work for any carrier but it's from Sprint. You follow the instructions in the first paragraph and that should reset your phone to stock, out-of-the-box, reset, etc.

Essentially, H-Boot on these devices seems to look for a particular set of files in the root directory of your SD card (external). If one is found, it flashes it.

To get into H-Boot, remove your battery, re-insert, then hold Volume Down + Power for several seconds until H-Boot appears.

Thanks a ton mate. Saved my butt.

To use the zip in the XDA link, no.

By "it didn't work," what exactly do you mean? Did it not find the file? Did it not even pop up looking for different files when you booted into HBoot? Did you remember to change the version in the file and save it back into the zip?
