Help Return You Rent-A-Phones Info

Like myself and others, we will first need to complete the task of being able to return these guys first. How will YOU manage this? What situation are you in?

I had 2 upgrades, I rented a Razr (great phone, sharp screen, battery is horrendous, TOO wide). If walking in to store with return box and phone and docs, will I just have to pay the difference even though I charged to bill? And will I walk out with the GN?

Scenario 2: I'll take the 2nd upgrade online tonight and will I be able to return my FIRST upgrade (the Razr) for a full upgrade refund or I'm stuck with the used upgrade???? Hmmm...

Help would be appreciated and what scenario are YOU in?
 
I returned my rent-a-rezound the other day that I charged to my account and it was fairly painless. I reactivated my old d2 (replacement of a replacement of a replacement...) so I didn't have to worry about where I picked up the nexus.

I would just return the rent-a-razor, pay the restocking fee and walk out with the gnex for the new contract price. I'm not sure if you still keep the new every two discount though.

The only benefit with getting it on the other line is that you can still return it for another phone if (dare I even say it) you don't like the nexus. If you get it on the line you already upgraded you can't exchange again, so you're stuck.
