Root Return Your Xoom to Stock.

That should have done it. Do you have a back up that you can restore? do you have an SD card in it that you can load a different ROM on to it?

I am trying to see if we can get you up and running without having to reflash the system and starting all over again.

I know you said your software was 6.27 Asia. I found 6.24 for Japan is that where your Xoom is from and has it updated to 6.27. Most Xoom software is for the stock image and then you have to keep taking the over the air updates to get to the latest.

I bought it from amazon, i think it is from HK. Yes i did an OTA just before rooting and installing eos3, which i like alot.

lets try this. download cm10.1 rom for the wifi xoom here pick the one at the top and download the gapps here. place both on your sd card put it back in your xoom and boot your xoom into recovery.

wipe the system, cache, dalvick then install the cm10.1 rom and the gapps. after everything is done reboot the system. If this does not work i will upload a file with your software to get you back to stock.

I did it but didn't work. start with the moto logo and then the cyanogenmod logo in eternal loop. I did all you told me. except wipe data/factory reset.
what can we do?

OK let's try this, download any file in the op and download this file
H.6.2-21_Brazil.zip

Unzip the file from the op and then unzip the Brazil zip and then copying it into the restore file you unziped agree to overwrite each one. Then run my script following the directions in the op.

In windows go to device manger look for the Xoom (probably has a yellow !) Right click uninstall drivers, unplug your xoom, plug your Xoom in and the drivers will reinstall. Your PC should now see your Xoom.

What about using a factory cable. Do you think that CWM is working properly . I read that has to be the right version. however it seems to me that is working well

are you using the cable that came with the xoom? Can you boot into fastboot mode by starting with the power off hold volume down and the power button until the menu appears then plug your xoom in and see if the pc see's it.
