Returning Evo

So I got my Droid X yesterday (dead pixel, will be ordering a replacement still) and its a fantastic phone after only a days use compared to my Evo.


But now, I have to return my Evo to sprint and its within 30 days of starting my contract with them. Do I just do a factory reset in the software and call it a day? I have the USB cord and charger as well as all manuals/box.
 
I don't know the best way to wipe an android phone but I would like to know. Weird things can be left on the device even after using it's built in wipe and memory formats.

I got a replacement Storm once that had appeared to be clean. However, when I downloaded and installed Pandora and went to login, it had the login and password already set from whoever owned the phone before and I was able to access their account.

I did the exact same thing, lol, dead pixels and everything. The X is such a better feeling and responding phone. Kudos to Verizon & Moto.
 
Just go into the settings and do a factory reset. It will delete all user files and everything on the SD card. Then take it back.
 
Actually a factory reset doesn't delete the SD card(at least when i did on it didn't)

Do a factory reset to get rid of everything on the phone and trust me EVERYTHING will be deleted

But before you do this be sure to format the sd card to delete all the info on it...in case you had some questionable pictures up there or something lol

Hate for you to have a situation like my twin sis did with her x-rated pix on her Droid incredible...She took it back and realized a day later she left a bunch of pix on the phone
