Returning my Inc2

I bought my Inc2 yesterday for full retail to replace my DX. After two days with it, I've decided it's not for me. HTC Sense is annoyingly ugly and bloated. The phone is really fast, but it just isn't enough of an upgrade from the DX to warrant a few hundred dollars. I should have known that before I bought it, but I was just itching for something new. I've had my DX since July and I'm kind of tired of it.

Nothing wrong with that whatsoever. HTC Sense is definitely not for everyone. I just switched to MIUI yesterday because I got bored of Sense, and I'll probably switch to CM7 or Sense when I get bored with MIUI. Thats my main reason for not buying Moto phones, I'm not good at sticking with one look for every long and not having the option to switch ROMs would be way too limiting IMO. To each their own.

I probably would have stayed with the Inc2 if HTC hadn't locked the bootloader. And it seems that the community for the Inc2 won't match what I'm used to with the X. The X feels like family in a weird way...first phone I've ever bought on launch day and I get compliments on it every week. I hate Moto's locked bootloader, but at least I already have root and there are custom ROMs to load. I wish I could have kept the Inc2 as well as I'm sure things will start getting more interesting after root is achieved and more people get their hand's on the phone.
The Inc2 was a great device, just not for me. I loved the screen quality and brightness, but it felt a little on the cheap side compared to X's metal components.

The bootloader might be locked, but is it encrypted? That's the reason why there's the hate towards Motorola - their bootloaders are encrypted. A locked bootloader can be overcome and unlocked by the developer community, it's just an encrypted one that can't.

Didnt take them long to crack the Bolt and would guess the same will be done with the Dinc2 soon.
