hi,

just a quick question.

If i downgrade to a stock old rom like the froyo one, would i then be able to update OTA and receieve Vodafone's Gingerbread rom when I do this? Or just update OTA in general to a newer rom.

thanks.

Hi Sandeep - why would you want to downgrade to an old stock ROM? When you rooted, did you use the Ace Hack Kit?

hi,

basically im getting really poor data signal, generally none, and i have no idea whats causing it. i figured if i can go back to a stock rom then i can get HTC or Vodafone to fix it... And no, i rooted a while ago, when we used the Visionary 1 click root.

When you rooted, did you run the S-Off tools on XDA (to get both Radio and ENG S-Off)? You could try flashing a new radio... this could help...

If you wanted to put it back to stock, you may not be able to find a Vodafone RUU (branded RUU's are more difficult to find)

yeah i did got both of the s-offs...
is there a guide anywhere on which radio to flash and how to do it? im used to flashing roms but never flashed a radio before...

There is one... I will have to try and have a look later though, as I am at work at the moment. I am going straight out later, but should be back this evening, so will let you know then :)
