Reunion of Droid Incredible mega thread

I never posted but like once...im more of a creeper but it is awesome to see familiar faces. I picked up the Dinc and haven't had a problem one. You guys did well.

Steven hasn't changed a bit. He might even post less.:p



Oh...Down with the Prime. My area even gets LTE in November. Yay!
 
Yes, I also am back to lurking around again :-) Still love my DInc but need a bigger screen! Good to see some familiar faces from a long time ago in here!
 
Yeah, i've been lurking a bunch too. Now debating between the Nexus Prime and the HTC Vigor and maybe even the Moto Spyder if that ends up being any good. Probably won't be launch day though so I can see which phone gets the best reviews. Plus I need to wait till I can upgrade anyways.
 
I wasn't a day one owner, I was one of the waiting list people. Yeah, it sucked. It's funny though, I have seen a lot of phones pass by in the last two years that were not impressive enough and this one seems to hit the mark. The only issue I have it the humongous screen size! I kind of like the 3.7 inch or even 4.0.

Glad to see I'm not the only one...I think the incredible is a perfect size. My friend has the bionic and its not too bad, but I'm not sure how comfortable a 4.65" phone is gonna be when trying to make a call...
 
Yup...launch day DInc owner here waiting to upgrade to a launch day Prime owner.

I have played with many phones over the past 2 years but do not feel that any were as good as the DInc. Yes, a bigger screen is nice but I may find I don't like the extra size in my pocket.

My DInc will be passed along to my wife and will hopefully get another 2 years of use.
 
I'm either going to a Prime or a Vigor owner :P

It really depends on when they come out, what specs they really do have, and what the UI looks like on ICS...

A lot of us are seeing that we are eligible for a discount on an early upgrade.

This is my biggest problem with the newer phones - they are almost too big.

The plus is that my mother is ready to throw her phone against the wall so I've been priming her for the Vigor - that way I can see it before deciding whether to get it or just wait for the next round of phones which we should probably see January/February.
My DInc is still a little powerhouse and as long as some of the devs are still updating their ROM's I'm really not in a race to get rid of it.
 
Well I am officially back also. I have been having some problems recently with my DINC and am thinking about switching phones. Need to read up on some of the phones since I fell off the forums after I got my DINC on release day.
 
Nice to see a lot of familar faces. I too had an Inc. My wife has it now. I left for the Droid X like Steven and some others.

Looking forward to ze Prime!
 
Day 1 for the DInc and I'm salivating over the Prime. I remember seeing that old thread but I don't think I posted at all until after I got my Dinc
 
Got the Dink day 1. At 10:40 AM FedEx rang my door bell. LOL
The Prime has had my attention for awhile. And curiosity has been tugging at me from the Vigor too. I just hate there is no 4G here yet. About 25 miles to the South of me now.
 
The good ol DINC thread. Those were good days. My NE2 is due on the 29th or 30th of December. It will be tough to give up the $50 (plus don't they charge you another $25~35 for using an annual upgrade) just to get it a few weeks early. So I am hopeful that I can convince the phone guy to bump me early. Anyone had success with this in the past? In store or on the phone?
 
Yep, Day1 DInc here, lurked (a few rare posts) on the Incredible Mega thread...back to lurking here! I'm ready for a new beast, and with no SGSII on Vzw, this one looks to be the baby! :-)
 
At least the Inc had a micro sd slot ;) :)

Yes, I know the microsd slot issue has gotten very old. I am done. Or maybe not.... Got to think about that one.
 
I haven't been on here since I pre ordered my Dinc. 1 lol I still have it unrroted and I still love it. Im ready for an upgrade though. HTC has fallen behind a little.
 
I was a pre-order DInc owner. Love the phone and have it rooted and optimized for me!

I was waiting for the Nexus One to come to Verizon because I love the idea of a Google phone. That day never came, so I went with the Incredible. Haven't been let down since. Can't wait to see the Vigor and the Prime and decide.
 
Pre Order Inc here too..

I am not going Prime though, I am going Vigor. I miss HTC Sense too much. Unless the prime is rooted with Sense Roms before I get to the store that is...... Which is doubtful but Sense is the best.
