Ahh, it's posts like this that make me want to get my server up again. ..
Anyways, I'm uploading the drivers right now and will provide a link, but I have a couple of questions to ask so that I can try to get you where you want to be in the easiest way possible.
First off, we are talking about a Motorola A855 (OG or Droid 1), correct?
Is your phone rooted? Does it have a custom recovery installed? And are you using a Windows box or a Linux one? 32 bit or 64 bit?

Here are the drivers for a Windows machine running a 32bit version of Windows:

Download and install the drivers. Restart your computer. Make sure USB debugging is enabled on your phone. Plug your phone into your computer and let the drivers install.
