Root revert to ICS issues

i rooted my razr m and then reverted back to ICS from JB so I could use FoxFi again. I've run into a few issues and wondered if anyone might have a solution.

1. Its seems the radio is not as good as it was with JB. Where i used to pull strong 4G data, its now lower strength. Where i use to be marginal, i'm now dropping to 3G.

Should I flash the radio and if so which one and where do i find it?

2. I got ICS back on my phone late and went to bed. The next morning I woke up and it auto downloaded JB again. It didn't install but asked me if i wanted to now or later. I even ran my battery to empty (accidentally) and was afraid it would auto install on boot but it didn't just gave me the install/later option again.

--Is there a way to delete the downloaded JB file? I don't want it taking up (limited) space on the internal SD card. what is the file path to the storage location?

--If I can't delete it is there a way to rename the file or stop an installer so that i don't keep getting asked to install? file path...what do i do?

--If i can delete it can i prevent it from auto downloading again? if so how?

3. This is unrelated to root or reversion to ICS but is there a way to delete the tone files that make the phone dialer audible? You can't silence the tones if the phone is not in silent mode. These really irritate me and before use a different dialer app i thought id see if there was a way just to move the tone files.

thanks in advance.
