Got some of these little adaptors from DX:
DealExtreme: $2.39 Mini USB to Micro USB Adapter/Converter Keychain
Not much to say other than they are compact, well-made, and work flawlessly with the Evo for charging and data. The attached lanyard is of good quality and serves the attachment purpose well. Overall an excellent accessory if you have more miniUSB cables than micro, or just to have "in case".
The only thing I wonder is, is that the best price you could get for them? I bet they pop up on ebay for less from time to time. At any rate, you can't go wrong with these.
