Help rezound camera pictures having a "stretching" effect

Does anyone else have a "stretching" effect with pictures coming from the Rezound's camera? for some reason my pictures have this weird stretching effect on the left and right side of the pictures.

Here's an example of a photo I took earlier today. Look at the white building to the left, there's a stretching effect on the building.

Is there a way to get rid of this effect?

i think it's called a barrel (optical) distortion and this is mostly found on the wide end of super-wide-angle lenses. It can sometimes be corrected in postprocessing like with photoshop. Nice if somebody here can provide the Rezound CS5 lens correction module But it may not always correct all photos, for example, if the object(s) on one side is close by while the object(s) on the other side is further away. Anyways that's basically a lens distortion... (If they wanted to, the HTC people can also edit the firmware to resolve this.)

thanks for the info. I haven't been using a case, do you think I may have messed it up whenever I set it down or touch it?

oh no - definitely not. The "lens" is actually inside the phone, behind the outside window/layer that we can touch. bye

Why not get a DSLR if you're that worried about it? Or even a compact camera like a Nikon P300. Some very expensive lenses have this problem anyway. It's just because of the wide angle. I could pick this camera apart in multiple ways if I wanted to... like the sensor being realistically more like 5MP, no manual controls, the video over adjusting constantly, but I understand it's a phone which is why I don't care. Honestly I am a photographer and got this phone basically for it's awesome camera. It's a PHONE and we should be lucky that it has one of the best cameras on the market. I hardly even notice any distortion in your photo anyway. Be happy

Im First.This person only weighs 110 lbs. Using 449lbmm moon lense.
