Rezound launching with ICS?

Several years ago I used to work for VZW.
I still have many friends on FB that still do.
Yesterday, one of them told me that the Rezound will be launching with ICS.
I questioned him on it saying that the phone was launching on Monday and that I thought the Nexus would be the 1st with ICS. He confirmed and said that the Rezound would indeed be the 1st with ICS.

Has anybody else heard anything about this?

It launched with 2.3. Some people already have the phone.

What does your friend do for Verizon? I generally don't trust anyone that I can call on a weekend and speak with via Verizon's *611 number. No offense to those that work in Customer Service or Tech Support or any other department that works outside of "regular hours", but I don't suspect they get vital inside information at those pay scales.

If it was launching with ICS, or if I though ICS was coming to Rezound soon, I'd be down at Verizon buying one right now. I like and prefer HTC. As it is, I'll probaby wait for Galaxy Nexus so I can get ICS. Are you listening HTC?
