Rezound only $199.99/$229.99 on Amazon Wireless. "Now in stock"

Just bought my Rezound on the Verizon website and as I was checking out it knocked $100 off not a NE2 discount just gave me $100 so I got it for $194 with free overnight shipping .

for real? when is/was your contract up?

its giving me 249$ on the web. I assume its web only. I haven't went through the check out process to see if it gives me anymore of a discount.

If I buy it through Amazon do I still get the same holiday return policy as Verizon ? If I wanted to return it can I return to a Verizon store or does it have to be returned to Amazon ?

figured out why mine is coming up 249$...a discount related with my employer :)

edit* as a side note. The store that i spoke with..well the one my friend works at. They only got 5 yesterday and sold out. She says they may get more in today.

So I have to wonder how Amazon can offer the Rezound for an upgrade customer at $229 but Verizon store price for same customer is $249? Makes no sense to me. I'm going to go to VZW store and ask them if they will match Amazon's price point...otherwise I'm not going to buy my phone at the store! Unless there's a hidden fee I'm missing or something? Activation fee perhaps? I can activate the phone myself correct? (When I had to replace my original DINC due to a problem VZW sent me a replacement which I simply activated myself online, assume this would be the same thing).

I'm also going to try BB and see if they'll match the $219 price I found online at Wally World. Not gonna pay VZW $249 unless I absolutely have to!

Anyone want to purchase a gently used DINC to help me offset the price of my new Rezound? :-)

Look like BB has extended holiday returns to Jan 24th so if you can get them to price mach that would be the way to go. The only thing I'm not sure is is the bolded part. Seems like maybe you can exchange the phone ?

I checked with bb today, and they said I can't upgrade with my annual upgrade. So,the 219 price is out for me. I can get it for 249 on the vzw website though.

Was at BB. Couldn't get them to match amazon (not a physical store) or Walmart (not physically in stock. They actually called over to the local store.)

So I started signing up with wireless.amazon.com for the 229 family upgrade, but it wanted me to give up my $5 text plan. I use about 40 a month by people that won't use my Google Voice number, so it's perfect.

Does anyone know if wireless.amazon.com charges CA tax on the full purchase price ($50) like VZW has to? I'd really rather pay it next april instead ;)

How do you get an annual upgrade ? I would love to have that.

This is on the Verizon website.

So if I'm already a customer I can sign up for the annual upgrade program ? I bought the original Droid but was not able to upgrade for 18 months.
