Rezound Tips?

I was looking up good apps to take screen shot on my Rezound and I stumbled across the fact that the stock phone can do that by holding the power button and tapping the home button. What other tips, tricks or hidden settings are there most people might not know about?

My house is in a spotty 3G area of town and I get hugely better battery life by keeping wifi on when the phone sleeps so it is not trying to hit the cell tower for email updates etc. It can add two hours a day on the standard battery.

You go to
-->Settings
----->Wireless&networks
--------->Wi-fi settings
--------------> (hit menu)Advanced
------------------>wi-fi sleep policy
----------------------->never (phew)

How much battery does this use when wifi is not available and your connected to 3 or 4g? Since it is always on.

Holy crap! I never knew that. Thanks!!! I'm glad now that I never got around to paying for a screen shot app after the trial ended.

Awesome!! Thank You.

I knew that you could do voice and data simultaneously on 4G, but I didn't know that the Rezound was one of the few Verizon phones that can do both when on 3G as well!

Unlike older HTC phones with sense 2.x, the HTC Music app recognizes Bluetooth controls. Which is great for me as I listen through Bluetooth headphones most of the time.

You can set photos as favorites, and gallery shows them in a "My Favorites" folder. I use that to pick which pics I want to see in a Slide show when my phone is in its desk dock. It's also a great way to isolate photos you want to print, move or edit in another app.

Oh yeah, you can print directly from the Rezound from the Internet app or the built in doc reader if you have a wireless printer at home! They come out looking like draft quality, but useful if you need to see something on paper. You can print pictures too, but havent tried that yet.

What if you use juice defender? I don't think you'd notice much of a difference...

I never knew there was an advanced menu there. I logically, but incorrectly, assumed that with >50% of the screen being blank space that they would simply put an "Advanced Settings" button on there to get to it.

I honestly don't know since I tend to have it on the car charger frequently when I'm out and about. You can always use the power widget to switch off wifi if you will be away from your networks with the phone in sleep for a long time.

Since I've seen people return phones over an "issue" that doesn't exist: the 4 buttons on the bottom of the phone only light up in low light situations.

i have my mazda set up to auto connect to my bluetooth, and it plays my music from my google music account, which is set up with my computer at home...

you can browse the internet while on the phone.

Oh I get the concept. Had no idea you could do that on this phone. It really doesn't make any sense. CDMA networks don't have the ability to do this. Or so Verizon has told us for years. I just tried it - sure enough, it works. I wonder if it's the SIM card that is now making this possible?

You could very well be right. The SIM card is the one difference in hardware that I can think of vs. other phones that can't.
