so ive been trying to find out possible ways to resurrect bricked phones..i think im actually getting somewhere.i seen in some youtube videos people disassembling the phone and soldering some wires to the motherboard and plugging the wires into the "Riff Box" and the usb connected to the computer.then run this software that i guess reflashes the phone according to the original IMEI...after thats done,you reassemble and boot..does anyone know if this does indeed work and if so,can you do this with ANY phone?? thanks for your help.heres a link to the video i seen it in.for reference.

i seen that too.. my phone is fully bricked and i cant fix it.. i hear jtag is my only solution and i cant afford it there over $100! lemme know if u hear anything..
 
JTAG? I think I heard of a JTAG cable made for our LG smartphones....its a special cable that puts the phone in fastboot....
 
ya it can revive a bricked phone (MINE IS BRICKED) I mean, totally bricked (cant boot on) and jtag is the only way to fix it and i cant access it!! :( ... i could also switch the motherboard with another lg optimus if anyone got a broke optimus.. i need the motherboard out of it!!....

No, it stays on LG logo, I have made the unbrick methods for the optimus v (that actually work) it is permanently bricked. LGNPST errors out not because of a corrupt file, but because my boot loader is completely corrupt.

Does it show LG logo? Can it get into e-mode? Or a blank screen e-mode?
I may have found a way to get around replace bad flash bricks.

Actually you're wrong, you could have a blank screen e-mode=hard brick=lgnpst won't work...I just got my V unbricked out of it by using Optimus U firmware, the U and M and C all use the same bootloader. The V and S use the same bootloader but it is definitely different than what the U/M/C all use. My V can never run the V/S firmware again due to the boot loader used, part of my phone has a "bad block" which is where LGNPST errors out and fails to install proper firmware. If an M gets the same error, your only hope is to install either S or V firmware, get it rooted from OV page, put an M custom recovery and rom on it, radio will be broken, a new kind of rom will have to be made/ported with the V radio drivers.
