Ringdroid won't detect mp3

Is anyone else having this issue?

I cannot get Ringdroid to detect any mp3 files from my SD card (even the few preloaded by HTC).

I had this problem for the longest time. Make sure the songs are on the SD card and not internal memory. When I hooked the phone up to the computer I kept putting my songs in the internal memory and that's were my problem was.

Thanks bro, ill give this a try. I've just been assuming this whole time that i was placing them on the sd card.

Yeah - the preloaded MP3's are on the onboard storage, which is what a lot of apps are having trouble finding. I haven't loaded Ringdroid since I got the Inc, but that would be my guess as to the problem.

i was trying to use ringdroid until i found the built in ringtone maker that the phone already has.

How did you get to the built in ringtone maker?

Open up the HTC Music player, and start playing a song you want as your ringtone. Press Menu->Set as Ringtone ( If it's long enough, there will be a "Trim Ringtone" else you might only see options to set it as a phone or contact ringtone )
