Help ringtone atuo change after reboot

hi guys

i have HTC Desire HD and every time my phone reboots, my ringtone changes back to the default one.

the problem was there when i bought the phone and still here after i rooted it.
i tried setting a different soundset or simply setting a ringtone. also tried placing the ringtones in "Ringtone" folder on my sdcard... nothing helps.

i also noticed that ringtones thats been set for some1 special from my phonebook is fine...

any1 had this problem and/or knows how to solve it?

Just to confirm, the folder should be called Ringtones, not Ringtone. If you've called it Ringtone, that might be where the issue lies?
