Help ringtone in Bluetooth

Does anyone know why I can't hear notifications or calls in my Bluetooth on the Samsung Epic? I have on all my other phones and if I could that would solve my silent ring tone problem

I don't use bluetooth so I don't know, but I imagine that posting what model headset you are using would help.
