Help Ringtone/Notification Tone - Silent?

[lexluthor]

I don't see an option for Silent under Phone Ringtone or Notification Ringtone?

What if I want to not have an audible alert for phone calls / text?

I guess I could just create an .mp3 with 1 second of silence, but is there I could have sworn I saw a "silent" tone for each in the list before, but it's not there now.

Am I missing something?

Figured it out. Individual apps have their own notification settings and I see those add options of "default ringtone" and "silent".
