Help Ringtone & Notifications

I know ICS doesn't allow you to separate the two, but I read somewhere in the forums a while back that you could set something for quiet hours between certain times. Anyone know what that is and how to do it? I don't want to receive texts that wake me up in the morning because I work night shift, especially VM telling me by bill is coming up which I already know? All apps I've tried don't work. Thanks.
 
ZDbox has a nice quiet hours function. It worked perfectly for me. I'm using the built in quiet hours in CM10 and it works just fine too. But yea give ZDbox a try. Also what do you mean by not being able to separate ringtone and notification, you mean volume wise?
 
Yes. I was speaking of volume. I meant to add I'm running stock. Looks like ZDbox requires root or a free version for android 1.5

I just downloaded it and I am testing it. Please check me to see if I am doing this correct based on what I want. In the Zdbox app settings I turn down notification volume and leave up volumes for ring, media and alarm. I set the time on silent for about half an hour from the current time (before and after), then sent myself a text but it didn't silent the tone. My main focus is to silent the text tones while I'm sleeping during the morning but allowing the phone to ring so I won't miss important calls.
 
Oh you can just disable the text tone right from the stock messenger app :p. Go to settings and uncheck the notification options. On with ZDbox, what I did was go to Do Not Disturb go to its settings and turn down all notification tones then pick the time save and enable the setup. Take some screenies of the settings if it still rings. It worked great for me I muted everything during the night and never was disturbed by a ring.

Cool. Just silenced from the stock app. That worked great. That was all I really needed. I will try it on the app again though. Thanks for your help and patience.
