Help Ringtone Question!

I really hope this is just a setting I am having an issue with. I have downloaded all my ringtones and want to set for specific contacts, however some of my contacts have two to three numbers assigned to them such as cell, home, work. When I set the ringtone for them only the primary rings as the set ringtone, and the other numbers they call on go to my default ring not the one assigned to them. Is there a setting I am missing? I would like all the numbers on the contact to ring as the ringtone I set for them not just the primary, any help?
