Help ringtone resetting?

For some reason the last two days my ringtone has reset to the default VZW Airwaves ringtone after I have set it as a custom one that I made. It only happens after I have turned my phone off overnight to charge and then the first call I get during the day gives me the VZW Airwaves ringtone so I have to go back into sounds and select it to my custom ringtone. Has this happened with anyone else? Anyone know what the deal may be?

Oh yeah and it's only my phone call ringtone, my notifications don't reset.

Exactly same problem here on my Galaxy S2 as well. As the last post was in March, I gather there's no solution to this problem?

This was fixed with one of the thunderbolt updates from verizon... you will need to go to a galaxy s forum to see if someone can help..

Yeah, my TB is doing the same thing. It hasn't always, which makes me think it is from an update. Any chance of someone posting a thread link or a quick how-to for a fix? I'm hoping I don't have to sit around waiting for another update to fix it.... Thanks for any info.

Unfortunately the only fix for the thunderbolt is to do a factory reset..

Try unmounting and re-mounting the sd card.

Settings> sd card/phone storage

My Droid 4 is doing this...I even stopped turning off the phone at night, just letting it go to sleep naturally, and today instead of my custom "Back in Black" ringtone, it was the default Bell Phone.

Any help/solutions or anyone else having this problem with the Droid 4?
