Ringtone Trim Issues

[snavis]

Hello all, I am new here and new to android. My problem is this. My wife and I both bought the Sprint HTC Hero at the same time and on her phone under the music app that comes with the phone when she selects a song to make it her ring tone it gives her the option to trim the ringtone. On my phone that option does not appear at all. Anyone have a fix for this or any idea why it would do this? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I had the same issue. I was told by my provider that the Hero will not trim mp4s (iTunes). It won't give the option to trim if you are working with those.
Ringdroid worked no problem.
