Help Ringtones not showing up?

I just reset my Nexus 4, and am setting it back up again. I put my ringtones in a folder on sdcard called Ringtones, and I did the same for Alarms and Notifications. This has always worked in the past. I have rebooted the phone 5 or 6 times and it still has not recognized them.

I even tried copying the folders to sdcard/media/audio, but no luck. what is going on??

Go to the folder you have the ringtones in...play 1 of them...from the player settings, choose set as ringtone...now that folder should be seen.

i cant find that setting in any of the players -- what player do i use?

I see the option in ES Player if your have ES File Explorer installed.
I thought Google Music had it but it doesn't.
