Help Ringtones Not "Sync'd" Since GB Update

I've got ringtones set for certain people in my contacts. They were working fine until the GB update. Now, for example, when my husband calls, he has the standard ringtone, but when someone who I DON'T have saved as a contact calls, they get my husband's ringtone.

Anyone else having a similar problem?

Same thing happened to me. I completely removed all ringtones and re-installed them and it worked

What do you mean you completely removed them all and re-installed them? Reason I ask is I think I did the same thing....I copied my entire SD card, formatted it and copied it back.

Sorry for not mentioning exactly what I meant..After re-installing them they work just fine now.

Agreed. I had this once before too. I forget how I fixed it, but I had the issue with GB right away. I went and set all my contacts to default ring tone. I then re-assigned them. So far it seems to be working.

I have over 300 contacts! I cant go through each one and set a ringtone! what the heck am I going to do? !!

There is no way to reset all ringtones back to default?

I don't think it matters actually.....

I only have a few....my husband being the most important one....and I've set his back to default and reset it again, and sometimes it rings with the tone I have chosen for him, sometimes it rings the default. Weird.

HTC says they know about the issue but no ETA on when the GB update will roll again
