Help ringtones playing wrong

I've had my phone for over a year with no problems, but the other day I replaced the micro SD card that came with the phone for a bigger one.

I copied everything across to the new card just fine, and everything runs great, with one exception.

Now instead of the ringtones that I selected, it plays stuff from the music I have on the phone. I tried deleting everything on the card and starting over and that didn't work. And the phone will not let me format the card through the phone so I have to do it through my computer.

I think I messed something up but i have no clue what I did.

Did you try rebooting your phone? I'm also having a problem, when my phone rings it plays the ringtone first then the notification sound, plus I have no notification or gmail sounds. Rebooting helped for awhile but now it's doing it again!

Look under storage in your settings and see if your SD card is formatted, if it says unavailable under SD card pull out SD card and put it back in.
my phone has been doing this lately, when you turn your phone on watch the upper left side on your screen when it says formatting SD card, sometimes I have to pull it out 2 or 3 times before it will work.
if it doesn't say unavailable under SD card in the setting don't pull it out.

I once tried doing a copy/paste thing on the desktop when buying a larger card. It never seems to work right. I've found that moving apps and ringtones to the phone, then moving them back to the new card is the way to go. The problem is, or can be the limited internal memory of the phone itself.
