Help Ringtones reset after playing music help

Ok so ive got the media tree set up in the SD card with ringtones, notification etc

My problem is that everytime I use the music player to play mp3s all my ringtones/notification tones reset back to the default.

if i go into settings it will actually show that no ringtone is selected.

Any ideas?
