Help Rise using Speaker Phone

When I use my Rise in Speaker Phone mode, the screen stays on for about 45 sec and goes black. I twist the phone but the screen does not reappear. I can only redisplay the screen by pressing the volume buttons. This problem does not occur when I talk on the phone without using the Speaker.

I am wondering if this is some issue with the phone's motion sensor or is this a hidden "feature" of the phone?

I don't think the proximity sensor comes into play when on speakerphone. I believe it is your sleep setting that's causing this. I don't have this issue and my sleep is set to 30 minutes. and my keyboard timeout is (same as sleep)
