The link says there are no photos. Can you repost. I am sure others would like to see your layout since you are at such a high level. I use graph paper to design my layouts and I use colored marker to show my tower placements. While playing the level I will make chages to the layout based on my weaknesses. On this map, only afew will make it near the end of the second row. When that happens I can sell the entry tower and block the second row forcing the bots back to start.

They really are crappy pictures. There are two pictures of level 860-94, left and right of screen. I paused the game on level 860-100 before the enemies started out. I took 4 pictures of that. The other two pictures are after I sold everything. When the game ended I had $3252.
 
Been playing Robo Defense for about 6 months now...Such a fun game!! I love it! I've figured out a cool strategy that almost always gets me a perfect game...have now gone from level 1 to level 100 with zero losses. :-)

The game will solve that problem for you! I think the highest I got with perfect health was around level 400.
 
I went back and played a game on basic level 500 to see if I could get perfect health. I saw something I haven't seen in a month or two. The Titan came out on wave 79.

The sell-off at the end didn't work as well. I had too much weapon strength to have enough time to sell everything.

I did manage to end the game with perfect health.
 
The Titan will always come out at lvl 79 as long as you have a perfect game and you have unlocked all the achievements. I recently just completed lvl 860 and was one level away from having the titan but ended losing 1. I typically have about 40 remaining guys left out of 56 at around this level.

Was curious if anyone has made it to level 1000 yet?

I also wanted to know if anyone had more details on the upgrade glitch. My starting cash is at lvl 51 and I need 227,501,296 to upgrade to lvl 52. I'm assuming if the glitch was still around I would have hit it by now.

Anyone know more detail?

Only losing one life at level 860 is damn impressive. I've completed 890, but have been spending the last couple days completing all of the achievements that I hadn't gotten around to. It's kind of time consuming playing 25 games each of the other maps, and then another 20 of the VR maps. 5 more to go in the courtyard and I'll have "every" achievement unlocked.

To the best of my knowledge, you and I are the only ones on this forum playing in the 800's. I really haven't played that many games, I always skip to the next 10 game up level. It sounds like you've got higher levels on your arms. I'm at mid 40s on the rocket power/reload & AA reload. You've got way more starting cash than me as well. Looks like I'll have to play a bunch of games to upgrade the weapons!

I thought I read in earlier pages that the upgrade glitch had been fixed long ago. All of the upgrades I got were paid for regularly. After putting this much time into the game, I'd be a little pissed to hit a cheat that made further progress meaningless.

Thanks. The games are really inconsistent though. With my set up i am pretty vulnerable to early air and obviously late game, if they send just jets in any wave in the 90's, odds are i'm going to lose a couple.

Actually my rock power/reload is a bit lower than yours. My set up involves a lot of cash in the beginning to utilize the entire map so i've been just upgrading money. I've wasted enough money on that though and going to start upgrading the rocket power/reload now and concentrate on those until the end of the game. I've been playing on VR Training A Map 0003 to get more money per each game. I've been getting around 45 million points per game which is probably twice the amount you'd get on basic. I'm really hoping that the last level is 1000 and it is much more challenging than the previous levels. (Probably not though.)

Oh and the achievements I took care of at the beginning of the game after I completed level 100 or so. I wanted to get those out of the way fast so I could take advantage of the bonus levels and get the titan a lot easier.

I didn't even play a VR game until a couple days ago. I'll try that tactic of playing VR to up the cash.

It's much better considering it is the same difficulty and there are no obstacles on the course to deal with. Plus you get the added benefit of seeing the squares you place items on so you can be more exact.

Excellent tip! Just played VR A 0003 on 850. Managed to kill the Titan, but after that I made a mistake and let a few jeeps through. A few fighters made it through as well when I wasn't fast enough on the teleport reloads. Just over 40 million points earned. Now I'm wondering why you get so many more points on VR vs Basic?

Congrats. Very impressive getting the Titan on Level 850. I was not able to do that and i'm assuming it has to do with me upgrading money rather than rocket power and reload. The reason you get more money on this is because it is considered a special stage. The basic gives the lowest amount while the other scenarios i believe give the same amount. (VR gives the same amount as Factory for all units while Basic is much lower)
 
I'm at around 560 or so but haven't been playing for maybe a week? I've been playing a little AirAttack or Wixel (boggle) instead.

I think I was at about 200 before I nailed out some of the last achievements on level 0 just setting up a board and letting the game run while watching TV or whatever.

You get many more points on VR, but I couldn't remember the blank level number or find it again after reading about that on another forum somewhere.

A 0003 is the same as the basic map. Twice the points!
 
Doh, yeah I hadn't realized it was twice as many. I just banged out a game at 500 and wound up with 22mil or so. Enough to bump my stats for a while since I finished with about 40/53 life. Wave 100 was mainly air and a good number blew by me, but I stacked my front with relatively weak anti-land and sold everything but a rocket launcher at the end before the last '10' guy was taken out.

Managed to get a perfect game today on VR A 0003 level 850. I've tried about 6 850 games recently and only got the titan twice. Also won 890 (lost 15 lives on that one), but I'm digging this 45,000,000 points per game.

Yeah the extra points from the VR training really helps build up your upgrades. I just beat level 890 as well. I was down to 40 lives at the end. I'm hoping to be at lvl 990 in about 4 days. These games are getting real long though.

Please tell me you don't fly Boeing 777s? The last thing I want to think about as I'm cruising to Hawaii is that the CA/FO is playing RoboDefense!

I wouldn't have a problem with it really;)

Hahaha. Nah I'm not a pilot. Although if I was, I'd be playing the game while the plane is in cruise control. 10 bucks says i'd overshoot landing atleast once a week.
 
I'm on lvl 950 now. I did not pass 940 too smoothly though. My life was in the teens at the end. I've been noticing with all the fire power going on in the later levels, I get entirely way too much lag to be able to keep up with the fighter jets and reloading the teleports. Level 97 or 98 I lost over 10 fighter jets in one round due to the lag. Quite annoying.

Are there ways to minimize lag in this game in the options menu? Maybe taking off the option to show area covered when clicking on an object?

I've had this problem for a long while. Been playing way too much myself, my right shoulder is actually getting sore while playing. Your stated goal of 990 sometime this week challenged me. I was up until 1:30 AM last night, but I finished 990. Next hour and a half I have free I'll play the thousand game. I think I'll take a break after that.

It's getting to where I have to actively play almost every wave. Every wave that involves jeeps or aircraft requires that I'm playing on slow, and either redirecting ground troops, or recharging TT towers.
