Root rogers captivate root for a beginner

hi i have a captivate, and was wondering if someone could give me the easiest safest way to root my phone to unlock its potential, please include everything i would need such as links and quick tips and detailed instructions thanks
step by step instructions for super one click would be good two

Since your in Canada, your with Rogers. Same as I am. I used SuperOneClick to do it. Never had an issue, follow the instructions to a T, make sure you dot your I's.
