Rogue app using gps

I am trying to figure out which app is calling on GPS so much. On all my devices I've left GPS on all the time an it has never been a problem. But in the last week or so I've noticed my GPS searching when I am not using an app the would call it (foursquare mostly).

I've gone and closed all running apps as well as a reboot and GPS is searching as soon as it boots.

Does anyone know how to tell what app is calling for it? Or is there another app that can see which it is?

Where abouts on GSam Harry? I always have GPS off just because none of my apps need it but i switched it on and went to GSam and it isnt on the main screen with wifi, bluetooth etc

Well, use that "oil can" icon (lower left corner) on GSam's main screen and the "App Sucker ..." screen appears. The menu of this screen (tap on its head line ) let you choose "View GPS Used Time" ... voila :)
