Help Rogue notification sound

When my phone starts up, I get 2 notification sounds (same sound) that are not what I have configured in Sounds options for phone or notification ringtone. I do have 4 custom ringtones in my /sdcard-ext/Media/Audio/Ringtones and /sdcard-ext/Media/Audio/Notifications folder, none of which are the same as the 2 that play at start up, but my phone and notification ring tone I have selected are from these 4 custom ones.

Any idea where this rogue notification sounds is coming from?

You device probably has the same sound set up for two different apps/widgets configured to check/update on boot up; such as Gmail and Default Notification, weather, Facebook, etc. Have a look around in each individual app/widget's configuration menu.

Check boxes are your friend.

It may be the SD card notifications. These drive me nuts and I turn them off after I first setup after a factory reset.

Settings->Sound->SD Card Notifications

Turn that off if they are on, restart the phone, and see if that was the culprit.
