Help Rogue widget

[mkersten1]

While trying to delete a widget (Google Play Magazines) it landed close to the Delete red X but was not deleted.

Now it is overlapping the Google search widget.
I can't remove it from there.

Disabling the app did not help.
Can't delete the app as it is part of the OS.

I would appreciate any thoughts on how to get rid of this rogue widget.

Try long pressing the widget(s) and removing via the little menu that pops up; that'll get rid of both from your screen. Then just replace the item you want back on the screen.

How long has this bee like this as this happened to me but it removed after I turned the screen off and in again. Or try what Frisco said.

Long pressing did not help.
Turning the screen on and off either.

However rebooting took care of the issue!
Thanks Frisco and Liamo for the suggestions.

No problem. Glad you got it sorted.
