Odd I stumbled across this .. I updated the phone the first day it was available.. no issues that I noticed.
Then yesterday I updated my PRL to the 60667 (not sure why I did in hindsight) and now at home, my normal 2 bars keeps jumping from 2 bars to ZERO about every 20 seconds. Over the course of the night, my Time without signal is now at approx 34%... I was at ZERO with the previous PRL and previous update. Since I didn't notice anything from the update right away, I'm guessing it is the PRL.
I've put a message into Sprint to find out what I can do about this as the phone is next to useless at my home now. (Oddly going a few hundred feet down the road and it's back to full bars).
I also noticed that the signal strength jumps from around -85 to -100 dBm when this happens and the tower ID changes as well. It's as if perhaps someone changed the threshold of the phone to say when below x signal strength , search for new tower. If that's the case, I believe that threshold was lowered either in the OTA update, or the PRL list included some bad towers in my area.. dunno myself but it sucks.
