Hello all! Here it is GingerSteem Rom!!! It has been fully cleaned out to decrease size and to increase speed. It will continue to be a work in progress! I hope you all enjoy!!!

What is this?
This is a very lightweight rom built both for speed and stability. This rom is based off of the LG's ZVB update to Gingerbread. It is fully deodexed, and debloated. Almost all of LG has been replaced and as time goes by, I hope to remove the rest. Swype has also been changed to the 3.26 Beta. A few items have been replaced with AOSP versions to increase speed and decrease size. Also included is the appwidgetpicker to clean that up.

How do I install this?
1.) Download the .zip & make sure 4g is enabled.
2.) Place zip in external sdcard
3.) Back up
4.) WIPE DATA!!! (You do not need to wipe if already on GingerSteem!)
5.) Go to install zip from sdcard
6.) Select GingerSteem1.0.zip
7.) Do not wipe data after flashing!!!
8.) Reboot!
9.) To Block Carrier Logging Requires Reboot After Initial Boot

it's kool i just dont like the lock screen looks like the stock optimus m lockscreen but the rom runs smooth.
 
Here are a few from my phone. I have customised it some so this is not what this ROM out of box looks like. Any ways here goes...

Awesome ROM.. Thanks alot! Does anyone know if HDMI works on this build? Know the plague kernel had issues but this is a diff one.. Thanks..
 
Everything is great. The only issue im having is with the Swype keyboard..when I try to longin to gmail it doesn't work correctly.

Here is the problem I am having.

1. Opening market for the first it wants you to sign in or create a gmail.
2. I have one, I am signing in with my gmail user Id...and when I press the @ symbol it changes the letters something else..which is preventing me logging in. I will reinstall the ROM and try again.

Anyone else having this issue?

You don't need the @gmail.com part. And you can add the word to the dictionary by tapping it in the spell check to get rid of that issue.

Yea what redhook said...all you need is the user name without the @ just click in the password box...but if there is a problem report it back...try another sign in or something to verify.

Installed this ROM this morning, HDMI, and USB Mass storage are not working. I know Mass storage is part of a CWM Issue I'm also assuming the HDMI issue is CWM.
