[ROM] 1.6 w/root, barnacle wifi tether and take5 Final | Behold 2

could you do me a huge favor and connect to adb and take a screen shot for me then go into battery usage and take another screen shot

just incase people want to know what I changed in the updated framework-res.apk
In the status bar:
Chat Icon
SDcard icon
SDcard usb icon
Battery
Bluetooth Call
Phone Call
Call Forward
On Hold

When looking in the system battery information I replaced the android guy with gears
(All Icons changed with replacements from froyo)

Notice the different battery Icon and the gears instead of the android guy

The only thing that I want to do is replace the adb icon which I cannot find thanks to twiz

I will continue to do what I can for this phone because I am waiting for my new one and am currently using a G1

Can I adb push your new framework-res.apk to the Take5 ROM
 
idk how bhman did his framework, I had to tweak it to get it to work properly with my rom when I was pulling things from it, I would pull the take5 framework just to be safe then push mine and if it doesnt work push the take5 one back

By chance do you have a print screen of the new desktop with the new framework-res.apk would like to see the changes before making a dramatic change to it. Thanks for all the great work you done on this phone by the way what phone are you getting to replace the behold2? I'm thinking of getting a nexus one till T-Mob gets a good HTC phone where I can use my upgrade that T-Mob gave me for this POS behold2 I've gone through two of them so far, going for my third this Monday. I've read on the T-Mob forums it takes at least 5 exchange's or replacements for T-Mob to finally switch out the phone for something else what a waste of my time to do it so much returns and realize that everybody who has this phone needs it to be recalled and behold2 customers need a different phone all together that's just my .02 on the subject.
 
The moj sent me some screen shots, ill post it here, some things you will not see on that though but are mentioned in the notes

As for phones im using a g1 for now (had to get rid of the bh2 complicated story) until I decide what phone I want to go with, I'm probably gunna go with the Vibrant, if you didnt know BH_Man/Eugene is deving for the phone.

I wouldnt buy the nexus one because google stopped selling it so there is probably another dev phone in the works. If you want a good htc tmo phone wait for Project Emerald to be released the phone is gunna be badass even if it isnt HTC but reports show that it will be the HTC Glacier.

Your right I adb pushed the framework-res.apk file and the phone booted with the new framework and everything went fine till I dropped down the notification bar and the whole section where it says phone,wifi,bluetooth,gps, was messed up and the button that used to say recent apps was changed to wifi. So I just adb pushed the old framework back I like my buttons on the old one but the new battery icon and everything else looked good so I think it needs improvement or It could just be the ROM I'm using which is Take5 and It wouldn't work right with it. Now with the Nexus One I would be getting that off contract where I still have my upgrade to use for that project Emerald you mention looks like HTC and T-Mob could rebound with that phone "finally!" Good luck with your Vibrant but no more Samsung phones for me and I would never use my upgrade for a Samsung android phone "never going to be cheated out of a update again" but if T-Mob wanted to make things right and trade out the behold2 for the Vibrant "Sure I would take it." Never am I going to dish out my hard earned money for a Samsung phone again, Thanks again for the new framework it was worth a try.
 
I dont think samsung would drop the ball again with a phone, also they already have clockwork recovery on the phone along with a bunch of devs plus its released world wide and samsung has plans for a tablet and mp3 payer based on the galaxy s and since android is going to only come out with firmware once every yr after gingerbread Id be fine getting the galaxy and having it have firmware that is up to date for 1.5 yrs. I also sent you some link you might find interesting.

As for the framework give me a minute and i could send you one that works on take 5

I really, really hate the circle battery icon.
BTW, may you make the topbar and the pulled down notification blue because some characters cannot be read in black background.
 
Are you able to add original Email client from either Google or Samsung?

If you have weatherbug installed, you will know what I am saying. If I don't change the font color, the temperature can't be read on topbar.
BTW, how can I change the system font?
I see you can use Segoe instead of original Droid, but I'd like to use Tahoma or Times Roman too.

Sorry had some things to do, I don't use AOL instant massager so I don't know how to send you a private message without it, I could set up a dummy email account if that will work I wouldn't have a problem posting it. Did you get the framework to work on Take5? let me know what you want to do..
 
i had weatherbug and already contacted them about the drop down, you can always change the status bar txt color in weather bug options, I dont own the phone anymore so what I can do is limited

email client yes but k-9 mail is better
You can download moment flash off the market and not everyone uses it so I dont want to waste space
there are better free keyboards on the market than the default one so why waste space
Languages would be pointless for a rom on a phone that is in the us

Lastley, without sounding like a jerk 3 of those are extremely easy to do so you could always do it yourself.

click on my name to the left and click send private message I just changed some icons in the take5 rom so there shouldnt be any problems

Just making sure were on the same page all I'm doing is adb pushing the framework-res.apk file not the whole ROM I like what I have just would like to have your notification bar with the icons you choose. Still don't know how to send you a private message all I see is your AOL instant massager is that what your talking about if not were do I go to send message?:eek:
